Two County Derry community groups have been awarded funding from BBC Children in Need to help make a positive difference to lives of children and young people in the area.
Roe Valley Residents Association were rewarded £52,321 while Feeny Community Association picked up a grant for £28,200.

Police have launched a probe after a financial worker was robbed at knifepoint in Magherafelt last week.

Two Magherafelt based paramedics have been hailed as heroes after pulling an ill woman from a burning ambulance.

SEVEN community groups in Magherafelt have secured funding of more than £180,000, it was revealed yesterday.
The money is to be handed out through the European Union’s new PEACE III Programme which is delivered through the council areas of Magherafelt, Cookstown, Dungannon and South Tyrone and Fermanagh.
