Police have launched a probe after a financial worker was robbed at knifepoint in Magherafelt last week.
The man, who works for Provident Personal Credit, claims he was approached by a man with a knife as he got into his car at around 9.30am on Tuesday, February 23 at Mullaghboy Crecent .
The man says the thief, who was wearing a grey hooded top with a scarf around his mouth, made off with the undisclosed sum of cash he was carrying.
A spokesman for Provident Personal Credit declined to comment on the Magherafelt incident.
He said: “We are not able to comment on this particular incident which is the subject of a police inquiry.
