A family from Drumsurn have spoken of their devastation after their house was badly damaged in a fire which started on their neighbour’s property.

COUNTY Derry band General Fiasco have been nominated for a prestigious award by one of the world’s biggest rock magazines.

A County Derry woman has won €72,000 on a major TV show.
Margaret O’Hagan last week took part in RTE’s ‘The Big Money Game’ on behalf of her mother Kathleen who’s from Desertmartin.

Worried homeowners in Magherafelt have vowed to fight plans to build a major food store in the south Derry town.

Campaigners have vowed to continue their fight to have essential Accident and Emergency services restored to the Mid Ulster Hospital.
Since the unit closed last Monday the campaign to block the closures has continued to gather momentum.

Homes in Claudy and Eglinton received a face lift recently after the Housing Executive installed new kitchens.
PK Murphy Construction Ltd were responsible for installing new kitchens in 55 Housing Executive homes.
The project which cost £277,000 included homes in Millpath in Eglinton and Desmond Avenue in Claudy.

A pack of ‘devil dogs’ are being blamed for killing ten lambs in a crazed weekend attack.
